Results You Can Expect
What to Expect During Your Session
Intake and Assessment (5-10 minutes):
Your therapist will ask about your main concern, what’s bothering you most, where you’re feeling pain or tension, and what you hope to accomplish. This helps them understand your body and create an effective treatment plan.
Your Primary Focus Area:
You’ll identify the one area that needs the most attention. This is where your therapist will spend the majority of the session time:
- Neck – For tension headaches, tech neck, or chronic tightness
- Shoulders – For upper back knots, shoulder blade pain, or stress-related tension
- Lower Back – For chronic low back pain, muscle strain, or discomfort from sitting/standing
- Upper Back – For thoracic tightness, postural strain, or mid-back tension
- Hips – For hip flexor tightness, sciatic discomfort, or lateral hip pain
- Legs – For tight calves, hamstrings, IT band tension, or recovery from activity
- Arms – For forearm tightness, elbow pain, or upper arm tension
Therapeutic Techniques Used:
Your therapist will select techniques based on your needs:
- Deep Tissue Massage – Slow, firm pressure to access deeper muscle layers and release chronic tension
- Trigger Point Therapy – Focused pressure on knots to eliminate referral pain patterns
- Myofascial Release – Sustained pressure to release fascial restrictions and adhesions
- Swedish Massage – Flowing strokes for circulation, relaxation, and nervous system calming
- Neuromuscular Therapy – Precise work to address specific dysfunction and pain patterns
- Sports Massage – Techniques for active individuals, injury prevention, and recovery
Session Structure:
While most of the time focuses on your primary concern, your therapist will also address related areas that contribute to your main issue. For example, if your focus is neck tension, they’ll likely also work on your shoulders and upper back since these areas are interconnected.
The session adapts throughout based on what your body responds to and what you’re experiencing.
Included in your session

Booking Tips
For Your First Session:
Arrive 10 minutes early to complete intake paperwork and discuss your goals with your therapist. Wear comfortable clothing and plan to communicate openly about pressure, comfort, and what you’re experiencing.
What to Tell Your Therapist:
- All areas that are bothering you (don’t prioritize, mention everything)
- Your main goals for the session
- Any previous injuries or chronic conditions
- Whether you’ve had a massage before and what you responded to
- If you have preferences about techniques or add-ons
After Your Session:
Drink plenty of water, avoid strenuous activity for the rest of the day, and pay attention to how your body feels over the next 24-48 hours. Many people notice continued improvement for several days as inflammation decreases and muscles continue to release.
