What is a Personalized Massage?

This is our foundational massage service, a customized therapeutic session that focuses on one main problem area while addressing your specific needs and preferences.

Every session is built around you: your symptoms, your goals, your pressure preferences, and what your body needs that day. Whether you need deep tissue work to release chronic tension or relaxation-focused massage to calm your nervous system, your therapist adapts the session to match.

The focus: One primary area that’s bothering you most, neck, shoulders, hips, lower back, upper back, legs, or arms.

The approach: Therapeutic techniques customized to your body and your goals.

The result: Targeted relief where you need it, delivered by a therapist who listens and adjusts throughout your session.

This isn’t a cookie-cutter routine. It’s personalized massage therapy that meets you exactly where you are.

Deep Tissue vs. Relaxation: What’s the Difference?

When you book, you can request either deep tissue or relaxation work. Here’s how to decide:

Choose Deep Tissue if:

  • You have chronic muscle tension or knots that don’t release easily
  • You prefer firm pressure and can handle some intensity
  • Your goal is to resolve a specific problem or pain pattern
  • You’re dealing with long-standing tightness or restricted mobility
  • You regularly exercise or have an active lifestyle

Choose Relaxation if:

  • You carry stress in your body and need your nervous system to calm down
  • You prefer gentler pressure and soothing touch
  • Your main goal is stress relief and overall relaxation
  • You’re dealing with anxiety, insomnia, or feeling overwhelmed
  • Your muscles are sensitive, and firm pressure feels too intense

Not sure? Tell your therapist, and they’ll adjust as they go. Many sessions blend both approaches, therapeutic work on problem areas with a relaxing flow elsewhere.
